About 8 months ago, I came to realization that my brother and I were spending the majority of our days working "in" our business instead of "on" our business. I knew we needed a new direction, some who could help us to clarify our vision and guide us to a better way of running our business. Hiring Chad as our business coach, has truly been one of the best decision I have made for our company! I had worked side by side with my father in our family business for most of my adult life, so when my father retired and wasn't coming into the office everyday I felt as if I had to be head of our business and the only one that could make the final decision on any situation. Being the "older" sister, I failed to see the leader in my brother because I always looked at him as my being my younger brother, not as my partner in business. With Chad's guidance, I have opened my mind and eyes and I've learned to "let go" of that feeling of complete responsibility for the entire company.
